The great tenor Andrea Bocelli will perform in a magnificent concert between the aisles of the Milan Cathedral behind closed doors and therefore without an audience. The event will be broadcast live worldwide on Sunday 12 April.
The concert will be held on Easter Sunday and the initiative was launched, in agreement with the Mayor of Milan, to enrich this important day.
Easter 2020 will be different from what we are used to, it will surely be lived with a different spirit, certainly more private, less convivial.
This, therefore, the gift of Milan to its citizens and to the world population: one of the greatest voices of our times in an unparalleled, suggestive and spectacular exhibition.
The world is preparing for an unprecedented quarantine Easter. Bocelli’s voice, a symbol of Italian art in the world, will echo among the naves of the Duomo, sending a symbolic message of union to the whole world.
