The Civic Museum in Bari was the sixth stop of the travelling exhibit dedicated to “Il Sentiero del Viandante Innamorato” (“The path of the wayfarer in love”), a rich artistic and anthropological project by maestro Tarshito, spreading a message of peace and union of peoples.

“Permettimi di donarti un Augurio” (“Let me gift you with a wish”) was the title of Tarshito’s performance during the night.

Seven places influenced and enriched the project: Tarshito’s pilgrimage started in July 2017 from the Huichol small artist community in Guadalupe Ocotàn, Mexico. It then moved on to India, then to Kathmandu in Nepal, to Pucallpa on the banks of the Amazon River in Peru, to Jessore in Bangladesh, to Asilah in Morocco, and last to Seoul in South Korea, where it ended in November 2018.

“Il Sentiero del Viandante Innamorato” is a 1,008 cm-long rolled rough canvas on which Tarshito impressed a re-invented world map clearly aiming to remove all divisions, boundaries or geographical limits.
