Vismara Design furnished and decorated a private home theater in the exclusive context of a private villa in Shanghai, China’s beating heart.
After the remarkable success at the 2017 edition of Salone del Mobile, the Italian brand Vismara Design managed to win Chinese customers over with its flagship product: the private Home Theater. Thanks to the incredible international showcase provided by Milan’s Salone del Mobile, a number of interesting and fruitful collaborations have thrived, given the dynamism and the steady expansion of the Asian market.
Vismara had the opportunity, as well as the privilege, to design and furnish the private home theater of an exclusive villa near the city of Shanghai.
To create the perfect space, it has been studied the perfect combination between furniture and design through a distinctly modern style albeit with some classic suggestions.
The reclining armchairs, the project centerpiece, have been designed and realised by Vismara so as to ensure maximum comfort and great sophistication. They are the results of in-depth ergonomic studies, aesthetic researches and utmost attention to details. The model presented by the project is a Chest armchair, inspired to the famous chesterfield sofa – mouthpiece of an ancient manufacturing tradition that provides the product with authenticity and style. The usage of the European suede Nabuk adds value to it, with further details and technological accessories.
For the surrounding space Vismara has designed boiseries with an extremely modern look, where stainless steel, lacquered wood and finest leathers, all combined in new art deco geometries, create an exquisite atmosphere. These special panellings, which luxuriously furnish the space, enhance its acoustics by avoiding sound reverberations.
As far as technology is concerned, Vismara Design chose a Dolby Atmos system, whose components have been masterfully hidden in the panelling perimeter, keeping its aesthetics perfect without renouncing a high technological content.
