Mysa is the new collection of lounge seatings designed by Michael Schmidt for Bross: a name meaning “cuddle” in Swedish that enhances the vocation of the product, intended to serve as a lively and comfortable support in hospitality environments, in community contexts or in the living areas of private home. Flowing lines and wraparound shapes define this program that includes a lounge chair in the version with high back and low back: the body is a shell that protects the privacy of those sitting and at the same time encourages informal communication. The armrest is an integral part of the body, supported by a base with four legs in solid oakwood, stained or matt lacquered, or alternatively in metal.

The shape of Mysa recalls the Scandinavian design, its essential forms but absolutely comfortable and familiar lines. Michael Schmidt, however, makes it a contemporary interpretation and combines the traditional structure in solid oak with trendy colors that characterize the coatings.
