The quality of its cuisine is a cornerstone of Italian gastronomic excellence.
After winning two Michelin stars with his dishes in his “D’O” restaurants in Cornaredo, in the province of Milan, and Stella Verde, Oldani continues its mission towards sustainability.
The creations of the WOO’Ɑ collection were presented a few days ago in Brianza, more precisely at the LegnoArredo Training Center in Camnago.
The chef and sustainable accessories
This occasion also saw the presence of other important protagonists such as Marco Buttafava, Italy Wood Coatings Director of Milesi, the designer Attila Veress, Mauro Porcini, SVP and Chief Designer Officer PepsiCo, and Luigi Mettica, director of the training chain of the LegnoArredo training center.
Chef Oldani presented WOO’Ɑ, a set of accessories 100% made of wood, each with an elegance and an important design study, without ever giving up the pleasure of everyday use.
Passepartout, a small accessory designed to rest the cutlery during the meal.
Objects that make the table a luxurious, sustainable and always functional table.
The WOO’Ɑ collection
The pieces in the collection, in addition to Passepartout, include a series of trays, a soufflé holder and more.
The collection of Chef Oldani continues with the Pinocchio glacette and a cap holder, named Taap.
There is also a spoon rest and a particular oak container.
In this precious piece of the collection you can serve eggplant or the true symbol of the chef’s cuisine: caramelized onion.
There is also a small table for moments of pause.
Not just wood
The WOO’Ɑ collection is created in solid oak, with the exception of Pinocchio whose wood comes from the exhausted barriques of Fabio Motta’s vineyards, in Bolgheri, Tuscany.
Each object, however, is expertly covered with Green Milesi sanitizing paints which sanitize and inhibit bacterial proliferation by over 99.9 percent.
