The Collection is inspired, although with large interpretation margin, to Pierre-Paul Jouve (1878-1973), appreciated both as a painter and as a sculptor of African wild life and animals. A globe trotter artist who visited all the great European zoos, widely explored the Middle East and the American continent, continuosly looking for new experiences and exotic influences. He had very powerful figures, accurate tecniques and he was a tireless animator of ornamental visions. Through this Collection, Alchymia pays a tribute to a real Master, by reviewing some of his favourite subjects, still admired in the museums all over the world.
