BRAFA, Excellence on Display

Excellence Magazine was privileged to attend the Brafa fair opening 2018 , in Brussels. BRAFA, is one of the longest running art and antiques fairs in the world and is organized every year by the nonprofit Belgian Antiques Fair Association.

The fair covers 15.400 m², where 134 leading galleries participate following a strict selection process, 16 countries are represented, 20 specialities are covered from classical archaeology to contemporary art and design, 100 experts from around the world are involved to verify the authenticity, quality and condition of the different objects on display and 61.250 visitors attend from across the world.

Brafa is one of the top 5 leading European art and antiques fairs. It is an eclectic fair which encompasses a variety of specialities, from antiquity to the 21st century. Here, all art works on show are for sale and quality and authenticity are two of the key requirements exhibitors face.
