“Storytelling” the Liu Ye exhibition
Fondazione Prada, replacing the physical visit of the “Storytelling” exhibition, launches a now widespread initiative among the various museums in Milan, a virtual tour.
Inner Views was born, a virtual experience of learning and knowledge. “Storytelling” is a personal exhibition by Liu Ye created by Udo Kittelmann. The exhibition includes 35 paintings created by the Chinese artist from 1992 to today.
With this exhibition, the visitor can discover Liu Ye’s intimate and sensual imagery that describes each of his works as his own self-portrait.
His small and medium format paintings are inspired by literature, art history and popular culture in the European and Chinese world. In his paintings, immersed in a suspended atmosphere, the fairy tale is intertwined with a subtle irony, the parody with an amused lyricism.
Thanks to the Instagram page of Fondazione Prada, it will be possible to immerse oneself in 360 ° in the art of Liu Ye thanks to in-depth analyzes, images and videos that will allow the public to approach the project from an internal, intimate and certainly engaging perspective.
