Giorgio Armani continues his revolution with conviction, leaving Paris and bringing Haute Couture to Milan.
The parade of the Armani Privé line, usually staged in the French capital since the brand’s debut in 2005, will take place next January at Palazzo Orsini in via Borgonuovo, in the historic Milanese headquarters of the brand.
The collection will have no seasonality, the garments will be suitable for winter as well as lighter clothing for summer.
Starting from June 2020 – a note specifies – the stylist will make the services of his tailoring available to customers: a large repertoire of models, current and previous collections, will be proposed and revised based on the fabrics chosen and the changes requested. The clothes will be presented by appointment, as is already the case during the year in the atelier.
The designer has also already revealed that the Giorgio Armani and Emporio Armani men’s and women’s collections will be presented in September in a way to be defined, also in Milan. During the latest edition of Milano Moda Donna (February 18-24), Giorgio Armani had chosen to walk behind closed doors given the beginning of the Coronavirus emergency in Italy.
Giorgio Armani, a month ago, had spoken openly about the need for the fashion system to slow down and realign itself with seasonality and also announced that it will leave its S / S 2020 ready to wear collection in stores at least until the beginning of September
how natural it is. And so we will do from now on
