It’s time to dust off those irons, woods and putters, and get back on the course in one of the most unique settings in the world. A special bond unites Cristallo Resort & Spa and Cortina Golf Club, its privileged partner, in the foothills of the Dolomite mountains: together they organise programmes, initiatives and offers specially designed for golf fans, such as “Golf Clinic with a Champion”, featuring two outstanding talents – Italian National Champion Margherita Rigon and Massimo Scarpa, Technical Director of the National Golf Team. As well as a stay at the hotel (minimum 2 nights) in a superior double room, the programme also includes a range of exclusive services: the chance to have lessons with champions, entry to the Spa, with swimming pool, relaxation area and gym to unwind after a day on the course, and excellent meals made from fresh local produce. Massimo Scarpa and Margherita Rigon will offer two programmes to choose from: a lesson followed by a round or an extended lesson with video analysis followed by a short game.
There is an abundance of services which only the 5-star luxury of the Dolomites can offer golf lovers: hotel guests do not need to pay the “green fee” – the daily charge for non-members – and can also enjoy a transfer service to and from the Cortina Golf Club on-board an electric golf car.
As for the Cortina Golf Club’s sporting calendar, the Cristallo has front-row seats with two tournaments sponsored by the hotel. The Transvital Golf Trophy will be held on 29 July, with the top two finishers in each of the four categories awarded in the Club House with Transvital products and treatments. The close collaboration continues between innovative beauty and cosmetic laboratories and the 5-star hotel, a partner of Transvital Swiss Beauty Center, a high-altitude oasis of calm offering treatments and massages.
5 August sees another prestigious event for all golf fans: the Hotel Cristallo Tournament, 18 holes with three different categories competing. The awards ceremony will take place at the hotel, with a total of 11 prizes up for grabs for the players.
But golf is much more than just a sport: it is a passion and a way of life. Hence why, this summer, guests at the Cristallo Resort & Spa are invited to discover the services of the Health Coach – the programme involves outdoor and indoor fitness activities, healthy eating and wellness advice exclusively for hotel guests.
