Born in Lecco in 1962, he is one of the most great Italian chef in the world. In 1977 he conclude his study at Institute of Hospitality located in Bellagio, then has made an invaluable training course in the greatest hotels, starred restaurants around the world and at only 27 he became Chef of the English Royal Family.
In 1991 Chef at the White House with George W. Bush senior. Five times he was named in the top ten Chef for the world by the “Five Star Diamond Award as One of the World’s Best Chefs”. His success has also found the Italian way creating and opening the “Terrazza” (Terrace) by the Grand Hotel Eden in Rome, where he stayed for nine years before moving to the prestigious Palace Hotel in St. Moritz.
In eight years in Japan with his group opens and manages over 30 Italian restaurants, including the Armani Ginza Tower Tokyo. In 2008 he was awarded as “Best chef in the world”, in 2009 Merano Wine Festival is declared Ambassador of Italian Cuisine in World. Vinitaly 2011 he received the prestigious “Fuoriclasse” award. From 2012, he is President of Euro-Toques Italy. In 2013 Pisa Receives Prestigious Award International Plaza de Chavoli. Since February 2014 he is Vice President Operating with Euro Toques International delegation for Expo Milano 2015.
On 2 June 2014 is appointed by the Italian President Napolitano “Commendatore al Merito” of the Italian Republic and Ambassador of Italian cuisine. In January 2015 was unanimously elected President Euro-Toques International.
