Swedish brand Hästens opens its doors to the beautiful and elegant Swiss city with its new store in the heart of Lugano. The store covers 100 sq2 and boasts five windows facing on to the Piazza della Riforma, just a few steps from the lake. Designed by owners Giulia and Alberto Pirovano, with artistic direction from Alessandro Agrati, the space has a refined, minimalist style and although furnishings have been pared back to a minimum, the ambience is warm and comforting. The layout and soft lighting create a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere accompanying the guest on a sensory journey into the comfort and intimacy that define the domestic environment. Inside, behind double curtains that can be closed as required to guarantee absolute privacy and relaxation, you will find the ‘Vividus-V sensi’, a testing room for the Vividus bed, the brand’s flagship product. So unique that it has even been the subject of a Canon case history, the Vividus-V sensi is designed to offer the client a tailor made (or bespoke) sensory experience. The client selects their preferred setting – sea, mountain, river or forest – and a combination of 360° video projections with sound effects and related scents and an exclusive selection of fine bed linen, which can be personalised to the last detail, delivers an unforgettable tactile experience.
