After twelve years of restoration, the hotel was inaugurated in the spring of 2022, bringing new life and splendor to this corner of Tuscany. Behind this ambitious project lies a deep love for the region and the desire to enhance this Tuscan treasure. The architecture and design of Hotel The Club House have been carefully curated by the architect Margherita Gozzi, the same mind behind the restoration of Hotel Le Fontanelle and Vallepicciola winery.
With Hotel The Club House, the aim is to create a unique environment where history and tradition harmoniously blend with a contemporary and immersive hospitality. Thanks to the restoration of less ancient structures, it was easier to redesign the interiors while always preserving the authenticity and essence of the place. The choice of materials, such as stone, wood, and traditional tiles, adds a touch of elegance and homely warmth.
The hotel aims to be a place where guests can fully immerse themselves in the unique atmosphere of Chianti, being inspired by the beauty that surrounds them; here, history and modernity intertwine, offering a concrete luxury experience. This distinctive feature is found in the 15 rooms of the property, divided into 12 Superior and 3 Master Suites, all characterized by a skillful use of space and attention to every detail.
Hotel The Club House has enriched its sensory experience with the opening of Il Visibilio, the 1-Michelin-Star fine dining restaurant led by Executive Chef Daniele Canella. Here, combinations of Italian flavors with international techniques and ingredients represent a clear reference to the distinctive style that makes this restaurant with only 5 tables an unforgettable experience. The restaurant offers a blind tasting menu that varies according to the seasonality and freshness of the ingredients; Il Visibilio focuses on advanced techniques and high-quality products, offering customers a unique gastronomic journey.
Osteria Il Tuscanico is the second restaurant of Hotel The Club House, also under the direction of the Executive Chef Canella, which evokes a style perfectly integrated into the resort’s atmosphere. The menu offers six dishes per category: two typical of Tuscany, four of Italian tradition, and a vegan option linked to well-being. The atmosphere is elegant, detailed, yet maintains an informal atmosphere. The restaurant offers a varied and traditional culinary experience with a touch of modernity, where guests can taste the authenticity of Tuscan cuisine, with particular attention to the Florentine steak. The natural colors of the room and the simple mise en place recall the atmosphere of traditional Tuscan trattorias.
