Automobili Lamborghini has inaugurated its second “Lounge” in the Roppongi residential district of Tokyo, after the one opened in New York.
A meeting place for fans of the luxury car manufacturer and a space for events and exhibitions, the lounge also hosts the permanent Ad Personam studio, which allows customers to customize their car down to the smallest detail.
On the occasion of the inauguration, Automobili Lamborghini presented the collaboration with the stylist Yohji Yamamoto, who reinterpreted the Lamborghini Aventador S and created a co-branded capsule collection consisting of three items: a mod coat, a bomber and a hoodie. Mitja Borkert, Head of Design at Automobili Lamborghini, said:
It was a thrill to be able to work with Yohji Yamamoto, a world fashion icon, who immediately understood the value of the DNA of Lamborghini design. Our collaboration gave birth to this exceptional design work for Aventador S which, presented today for the first time, celebrates the union between Italian craftsmanship and Japanese culture
The ground floor of the new Tokyo lounge is dedicated to the personalized delivery to customers of their Lamborghini, while the second and third floors host spaces for events and meetings, whether for business or private.
Over half of the cars delivered globally by Lamborghini feature at least one customized detail through our Ad Personam program, available in the Sant’Agata Bolognese studio or in our dealer offices
said Giovanni Perosino, Chief Commercial Officer of Automobili Lamborghini.
Japanese Lamborghini customers have warmly welcomed the almost limitless opportunities offered by Ad Personam: it was wonderful to see over 200 Lamborghinis created through the program during our Lamborghini Day in Osaka last year. It is with pleasure that we announce the opening of the Ad Personam studio right here, inside the Lamborghini Lounge Tokyo, which will offer our customers the opportunity to customize their cars without having to travel abroad
