Speed, excitement and glamour characterised the 2017 Grand Prix at the Circuit de Monaco, the race course renowned for its steep inclines and hair-pin bends. As the world’s greatest supercars zipped around the perilous, beautiful streets of the Principality, Excellence Magazine was in attendance to live the thrills of the event, from Free Practice on Thursday, to Qualification on Saturday, right through to Race day itself on Sunday.
Benefitting from a superb view of the course, Excellence guests watched Ferrari’s first win in Monaco in 16 years from the VIP Terrazza Lounge. Organised with our esteemed partner Platinum Group, the box was open to a select number of people, invited exclusively to watch the race in an ambiance of extreme comfort and luxury. The occasion was just the excuse everyone was looking for to indulge in a splendid lunch and some glamourous cocktails.
In the evening, celebrations stepped up a gear with a Yacht Party aboard a superb vessel. The glitzy event featured a fine standing dinner, popping champagne corks, delicious cocktails, live music, a DJ set and plenty of people on the dancefloor. Models from elegant fashion brand Roxana Pansino also made an entrance later in the evening, showcasing the designer’s latest collection, after having posed next to the painted supercars by artist Shalimar Sharbatly.

The long weekend at the 2017 Monaco Grand Prix perfectly summed up the spirit of Excellence Magazine, and we look forward to a summer filled with similarly glamourous events.
