23 artisanal fragrances available on Amazon.
Before Mauro Lorenzi Profumi, artisanal fragrances on Amazon had never been seen before. Alongside the big brands, those who had already appeared on the world’s most famous e-commerce platform were a few niche perfume companies, whose production, however, is almost always outsourced.
Now, with a Display Window operation, Mauro Lorenzi Profumi is making its 23 top fragrances available for purchase on Amazon. The offer includes the two debut collections, Septimontium and Tiberis Pontes, of seven unisex and natural fragrances each, with names strictly in Latin. We speak of Aventinus, Caelius, Capitolium, Esquilinus, Palatinus, Quirinalis and Viminalis, which make up the first collection. Aurelius, Aemilius, Cestius, Fabricius, Hadrianus, Milvius and Sublicius are the essences of the second one. But there are also the three new and highly unique collections:
- Terra Sirenum, celebrating the legendary myth of the Sirens, linked to Sorrento, Positano and Capri, with three extraordinary fragrances of great evocative power (Sirentum, Poseidon and Capreae).
- Absoluti, composed of Primitiva Ambra, Rude Patchouli and Extraordinarius Aoud.
- Luxurya, linked to the myth of Eros and fragranced in Basium, Amplexus and Orgasmus.
Production as well as Philosophy
What Mauro Lorenzi Profumi brings to the consumer platform is precisely the concept of essence, in all its meanings. Not only as a product, but also as a concept: “what makes a perfume a perfume,” Mauro Lorenzi explained to Excellence Magazine, “is the perfume itself, the substance. Some products are placed on the market in a price range defined by aspects such as packaging, which is often very intricate. We have never been interested in presenting our products as an Enterprise. We are interested in quality and we believe that it is possible to make it accessible by discarding the superfluous’.
At Mauro Lorenzi Profumi, therefore, discarding the superfluous means proposing 23 fragrances in standard bottles but with painstaking work behind them. From the definition of the olfactory pyramid to the design of the perfume, right up to the production process, including maceration, this workshop produces essences of the highest quality that can last up to four days.
Not only online
With its landing on Amazon to meet the general public, the company will require customers used to the platform to adopt a consumer experience they may not be accustomed to.
However accessible they may be, Mauro Lorenzi Profumi’s fragrances will not in fact change face to respond to the fast culture so popular in the online sphere. The fragrances, therefore, remain artisanal and, beyond stock availability, it may take four or five weeks for new production.
In the meantime, one can while away the hours by browsing the brand’s website to discover its history. Or you can contact the shop for information and personalised olfactory experiences (06/39671215). Finally, if you are in Rome, it is worth popping into the showroom (Borgo Pio, 184, Monday to Saturday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.) for an experience where the perfume, or rather essence Made in Italy is born.
