The little island of Pangkor Laut (or precisely Pulau Pangkor Laut in the Malay language) is a small island located very close to the major island of Pangkor (Pulau Pangkor), in the south of the Malaysian state of Perak.
The island is just a few minutes by boat from the main one and has very small dimensions, with a single hotel structure present, a wonderful resort with the same name.
This strip of land on the sea has been uninhabited since time immemorial, except having given occasional hospitality to fishermen as well as pirates, which famously infested the waters of the Strait of Malacca, always one of the most famous trade routes in the world.
Pangkor Laut Resort is a very peaceful place with unspoiled nature and a wonderful sea that offers accommodation by the sea or overlooking the tropical gardens.
A magnificent SPA immersed in a garden with small wooden huts in which to relax after ayurvedic treatments is available to guests.
Asian cuisine is served at Uncle Lim’s Kitchen, which overlooks the sea. The Fisherman’s Cove restaurant serves fresh seafood and Western, Chinese and Italian dishes.
