The twenty-second edition of 080 Barcelona Fashion starts again

From June 25 to 29, the Sant Pau Modernist Complex in Barcelona will host proposals by a total of 27 creators and fashion brands, within the framework of the next edition of the bi-annual fashion event 080 Barcelona Fashion, promoted by the Generalitat of Catalonia through the Consortium of Trade, Crafts and Fashion (CCAM).

Among the designers and brands attending this edition of 080, the emerging urban fashion brand Killing Weekend, winner of the 080_Rec 0.16 fashion contest, the young designer Xevi Fernández (men/women) who, after participating in the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week fashion show, will present a collection at 080 Barcelona Fashion; and the Imagoza Z1 Fashion firm, fruit of the Imagodeidesigns multidisciplinary artistic project will all debut at the 080 fashion show.

The winner of the National Generalitat of Catalonia 080 Barcelona Fashion Emerging Design Award by Desigual of the last edition, Mans Concept Menswear (man), and the joint winners of the National Generalitat of Catalonia 080 Barcelona Fashion Best Collection Award, Brain&Beast (man/woman) and Krizia Robustella (man/woman), will also present their new proposals.

Reaffirming their commitment to creativity, the 22nd edition of 080 is happy to welcome back designers Oscarleon (woman), Míriam Ponsa (woman), Txell Miras (woman), with her latest proposals for the independent, strong woman with a personality to match. Walking collections at the Catalan fashion week once again will also be the sustainable fashion firm, amt. (woman) and the label Aubergin (man/woman), with their creations that combine ethics and sustainability with top quality craftsmanship.

This edition of 080 will also feature returns to the catwalk of note: that of designer Manuel Bolaño (woman) – 080 Best Collection Award winner in the July 2011 edition – who returns to the fashion show after several editions without parading, and the emblematic TCN firm, with its hallmark relaxed Mediterranean style.

The best fashion knitwear will also have a prominent place on the 080 Barcelona Fashion runway, by way of the firms Lebor Gabala (woman), and Ester Ferrando Knitwear (man/woman), who is back parading after her debut at the last edition On the other hand, as usual in the summer editions of 080, fashion swimwear will feature strongly with the diverse, particular personal proposals from firms Red Point (woman), Guillermina Baeza (woman), ES Collection (man/woman) and Como un Pez en el Agua (woman).

At yet another edition, the Catalan fashion mutinational Custo Barcelona (man/woman) will be present at the 080 Barcelona Fashion fashion show, as well as the prestigious fashion label Antonio Miro (man/woman). The designer Miquel Suay will present his new prêt à porter collection men, and the company Sweet Matitos (woman) will show their third collection on the 080 catwalk, where they debuted just a year ago.

The remaining Catalan fashion firms walking collections in the next edition of the 080 will be: Naulover (woman), with its top quality comfortable design; Lola Casademunt (woman) with proposals in line with the latest trends while maintaining the company’s identity and character; Escorpion Studio Barcelona (woman) with designs that combine classical and modern; and the children’s fashion brand Boboli.
