German designer Sebastian Herkner, who trained at Offenbach University of Art and Design, is embarking on an ever-growing number of collaborations with international design houses (no less than 21 projects in the pipeline during 2018 for Moroso, Dedon, Thonet and Lintello to name but a few).

Over the course of the past decade, he has received some thirty awards in recognition of his innovative yet traditional work and, for all of the reasons above, he was chosen as the Designer of The Year of the January Edition of Maison et Objet 2019! You’ll be able to admire the power work of Herkner during this prestigious design event.
Designer of the year Sebastian Herkner: Designing companions for life – Sebastian Herkner is the Designer of The Year of Maison et Objet 2019, and so, obviously, Herkner will talk about his life work in a conference where he will explain all of the history behind his creative process!
