The hybrid propulsion and the storage system allow Artefact to be absolutely silent.

Even the seabed is grateful: Artefact is in fact equipped with a dynamic positioning and propulsion system that can maintain the position of the boat even without the need to drop anchor.

The lucky owner of this dream yacht is Mihal “Mike” Lazaridis, a businessman of Greek-Canadian origins who made his fortune thanks to the invention of BlackBerry, the first wireless portable device on the market.

The very wealthy businessman, once the BlackBerry adventure is over, is devoting himself to the study of quantum computing.
