Great success with the public for Lugano Elegance, the prologue of the Concorso d’Eleganza City of Lugano 2022.
Even if for the second consecutive year Covid-19 made it impossible to organize the Concorso d’Eleganza City of Lugano, the Lions Club Monteceneri, promoter of the Lions in Classic regularity Charity, still decided to organize a prologue of “Lugano Elegance “to give confidence and keep passion alive.
The cars on display
On Saturday 21 August, in the beating heart of Lugano’s shopping, 28 splendid cars were exhibited:

The cars, exhibited by collectors from Ticino and beyond the Alps, were admired by all fans, but not only.
In Piazza Riforma and in the patio of the Lugano City Hall, some paintings by the artist Antonio Natale were also exhibited who, at 11:00 and 15:00, unveiled to the public a spectacular Puma Coupé transformed into a work of art through the application of an adhesive film inspired by one of his paintings.
To complete an exceptional Saturday, Piazza Luini has been transformed into an exhibition area reserved for those visitors who have decided to reach Lugano with their vintage car.
Another “gem” for all the curious and fans of classic cars.
At this point we just have to wait until the next month of May 2022 when, Covid permitting, the real edition of the Concorso d’Eleganza City of Lugano will take place, the international event of classic and historic cars whose ambition is to enter right among the main European events dedicated to vintage vehicles.
