For many years it has been a pleasure and honour for Excellence Magazine to support the Associazione Amici (Friends Association) of the “CENTRO DINO FERRARI”, who on 27 September, in the beautiful setting of VILLA NAVA RUSCONI in Monticello, the “Centro Dino Ferrari” Association celebrated its Charity Event in aid of the scientific research into neuromuscular disease (Muscular Dystrophy) and neurodegenerative diseases (Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s Disease, Lateral Amiotrophic Sclerosis, Multiple Sclerosis and Spinal Muscular Atrophy) undertaken by the “Centro Dino Ferrari” at the University of Milan, IRCCS Foundation Ca’ Granda Ospedale Maggiore Policlinico.
150 invited guests were welcomed by the host and Past President of the Association, Alberto Rusconi, President Marialuisa Trussardi and Vice President Manuela Consensi Dini. Their generous donations highlighted how important it is that scientific research continues to progress toward eradicating these terrible illnesses.
The evening was sponsored by Dompé Pharmaceuticals, Coeclerici and the Korian Group and guests included Sir Lindsay Owen-Jones, Alessandro Sallusti, Daniel McVicar, Gaia Trussardi, Floriana Mentasti, Bob Krieger, Bedy Moratti, Andrea and Dora Invernizzi, Rita Zanardi Landi, Carla Tolomeo, Umberto and Marinella di Capua and many others.
There was plenty of musical entertainment, with performances from Violinist Elsa Martignoni and Live Music Entertainer Mario Pinna.
Before the dancing began, host Alberto Rusconi hosted a Charity Auction, coordinated by Paola Gradi, with prizes from Bob Krieger, Carla Tolomeo and the Contini Art Gallery, Dior, Giovanni Gastel, Marta Marzotto, Moncler, Redemption, Roberta Balsamo, Rossocorsa, Trussardi and Vhernier.
The evening was also supported by L’Astemia Pentita and Cafè Trussardi.
