Bulgari Resort Dubai is the new pearl in the necklace of hotels signed Bulgari.
The resort mainly stands out from Dubai’s other beachfront hotels for its special location on the seahorse-shaped artificial island known as Jumeira Bay.
From the outside, its design almost recalls the coral reef, an effect created by the texture of the structure covering the exteriors.
All credit goes to Milanese architects Citterio-Viel, who thought of positioning the hotel so that it would create two bays. The first bay is an enchanting stretch of beach flanked by charming villas, and hosts the most exclusive beach club in town.
The second bay vaguely reminds of the small seafront villages along the coast of Liguria, and harbors a sophisticated port with 46 berths, gourmet restaurants, and the exclusive, newly introduced Bulgari Yacht Club.
The resort counts 101 rooms and suites and 20 luxury villas ranging from 170 to 540 square meters.
The venue just could not do without a luxury spa either: 1,700 square meters of absolute well being, including an indoor pool that boasts a dream view of the sea and Dubai’s magnificent urban landscape. What else?
A bridge just 300 meters long separates the resort from Dubai’s center, one of the liveliest in the world – although the captivating Mediterranean atmosphere reigning at the resort makes it worth to remain on the island.
The classic oval-shaped Bulgari bar, now turned into a symbol of the Bulgari hotels, offers happy hours with excellent Italian products.
The resort also hosts the Niko Romito restaurant, which pays tribute to the Italian culinary tradition by gifting guests with a genuine food & wine experience, while its dark ceiling recreates the impression of dining under a night sky with a breathtaking view of the Arab Gulf.
