The eighth annual Paris Design Week will take place from Thursday 6 to Saturday 15 September 2018. For ten days, the event invites French and international professionals and the general public to discover the best showcases of design in Paris, while the leading talents in the discipline gather in the LE OFF exhibition. This event is an itinerary uniting 250 participants that all proudly promote first-rate design in Paris. At a time when new collections are popping up in stores and the new concepts for the autumn season are being launched, the event brings together the talents and forces of retailers, galleries, showrooms, hotels, and restaurants for eight days to share their experience in design and creation with the public.

One of the Top Events taking place during the Paris Design Week is the event Maison et Objet. That’s right, the ultimate lifestyle and design event comes back to Paris with a new challenge, one that seeks to completely overhaul its structure, more specifically its sectors: Maison and Objet. These two sectors will be presented from 7-11 September with a brand-new perspective, improving the journey and experience of visitors and professionals alike during the event.

The most extraordinary thing about Maison et Objet Paris is that it is constantly reinventing itself, year after year! In every edition, whether it is in January or September, it brings new ideas and inspirations throughout and offers it’s guests a whole new experience! Due to the diversity in the world of interior design, a lot of challenge for specifies take form, and so in order to become easier to scout new ideas and inspirations, Maison et Objet has altered its Maison sector, which will now be divided into four new realms to be explored: Unique & Eclectic, Today, Forever, and Craft. Through this four sectors, Maison et Objet will offer styles and trends just as diverse as ever before, with the assistance of the most exclusive luxury brands within these sectors.

On the other hand, the beauty of this design and lifestyle event is that it is highly appreciated by respected buyers both French and international. These are always searching for the latest product novelties, so the presence of the Objet hub by typology is more crucial than ever. For this edition, M&O has simplified the process into seven categories: Cook & ShareSmart GiftFashion AccessoriesKids & FamilyHome AccessoriesHome Fragrance, and Home Linen! With this new format that is way more elegant and simple, Maison et Objet wants to retain the title of one of the world’s most beloved tradeshow and the perfect stage for industry professionals and design enthusiasts to discover new trends and expressions in a multitude of sectors. This edition’s Designer of the Year will be Belgium’s Ramy Fischler, and the Rising Talent Section will be dedicated to Rising Talents for Lebanon!
