Everyone has their passion, and it is no secret that Nicolas Ghesquière’s is science fiction, as confirmed by Louis Vuitton’s latest capsule collection in collaboration with Riot Games for League of Legends.

A definitely original lookbook by photographer Collier Schorr, where traditional shooting is replaced with new takes on classic horror books, and much space is left to graphic design, with projects by four international artists, for a deliberately vintage effect.
A series of posters with best-selling visuals like Arachnomania, Secret Spell or The Escape Room, featuring an extraordinary cast of celebrities and actors such as the label’s muse Léa Seydoux, Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner, Billie Lourd, Angelica Ross and Jennifer Connelly, to name a few.
A dreamy dimension was there too courtesy of pop star Robyn, who told the designer about a talking tiger she dreamt of, later become a character of the novel The Night Chaser.
Horror and sci-fi dominate the collection, with the cover from William Peter Blatty’s The Exorcist decorating the line T-shirts after Vuitton acquired the printing rights.

he explained.
It’s such a great symbol for me to use a fiction and incorporate it into an outfit. I thought, what’s the reverse? To use the fiction as the illustration of the fashion. It’s a kind of a mirror effect in this action of representing them all in these different characters
As to style, Ghesquière is still experimenting with tailor designs and sporty blends, futuristic and vintage details, and the iconic Louis Vuitton monogram, as he once again privileges contrasting matches like Exorcist-themed T-shirts paired with sequined dresses and snow boots, or a retro blouse on trousers with side bands.
