At Vismara’s shipyard in Viareggio, works have now started for the construction of the Momi 80, the brand’s latest streamlined sailing yacht.

With 26.2 meters in length and a 280-square-meter sail, the Momi 80 will be fully built in carbon sandwich, with a carbon mast and boom. The yacht is operated by four aft electric winches, two fore manual winches, and a grinder.

With a 2.5-meter draft, its retractable keel will take the Momi 80 through deep and shallow waters alike, and allow the luxury boat to effortlessly access ports by motor power. Opened electronically, the stern mirror hatch can serve as a swim platform, or as storage space for the 3-meter tender.

Guests and the crew will board the Momi 80 through two separate entrances.

Two double cabins for the crew can be found onboard, one of which is ensuite and comes with a closet and laundry. Located in the stern, the galley is equipped with tilting gas burners, an oven, a dishwasher and a large fridge, in addition to a small service bathroom nearby.

The main door is reserved to guests, and leads to the comfort of a double L-shaped sofa in a dinette. Further down the bow, passengers can refresh in two guest cabins – a double one with a bunk bed and wardrobe, and another one with a double bed, wardrobe and private bathroom. The master cabin can also be found at the bow, and includes a large wardrobe, a sofa and an ensuite bathroom and shower.

Inside, the Momi 80’s essential, bright interiors showcase the brand’s signature blend of oak wood, white bulkheads and warm-toned upholstery.
