The world biggest sport celebrities for a charity tournament.
On Tuesday, June 27, in Monaco took place the first edition of Glam Foot, a charity 5-a-side soccer tournament, whose protagonists were a series of stars from the world of soccer and other personalities including Anthony Martial, Tiémoué Bakayoko and Louis Ducruet.
Held in the heart of Espace-Saint-Antoine, the tournament brought together a series of sports and charity challenges. As expected, the four announced teams showed up in force, each eager to win the trophy designed by artist Acide Art.
The players in the competition
During the off-season, players such as Tiémoué Bakayoko and Éric Bailly (both with JPK Healthcare) took the opportunity to surprise spectators.
Rolling, dribbling, frantic action and an avalanche of goals… a mix that made this first installment of Glam Foot a success. In addition to the lighthearted and friendly atmosphere, the participants showed real commitment and interest in the causes they were championing.
Despite an injury sustained at the end of the season, Anthony Martial has equally made himself available to sponsor the event, of which he is one of the main promoters. As Honorary President of the Glam Foot Association, he supported his team representatives throughout the afternoon. The Barbagiuans and their president, Louis Ducruet, were equally committed. Determined as ever, the nephew of Prince Albert II did not spare himself, just like his teammates.
Although Sisik did not come from a football background, he did not lose heart against professional players. With his -key partners, such as Laurent Correia and Emine, Sisik held high the colors of the “Or Bleu” association, for which he is an ambassador. The team was also joined by “El Fenomeno” Hassan N’Dam, six-time English boxing world champion. A close-knit and combative group that proved to be able to defend themselves well.
Monegasque boxer Hugo Micallef also wanted to support the event with his presence on the sidelines in support of the Principality’s charity work.
