martinez01During the daytime, with the hotel’s balconies opening onto the sparkling Mediterranean Sea, around the pool drinking cocktails or at the private sandy ‘Zplage Beach Club’…, the Martinez is truly unique…

At night, prestigious parties are set for ladies in elegant dresses and gentlemen in tailor-made evening wear, and champagne is flowing… Here you feel beautiful, you feel young and you want to savour every moment…

The Martinez has for a long time and still is the place to be and stay during the Cannes Film Festival. Like a movie star, the hotel’s Art Déco façade has been impeccably preserved and keeps on shining since 1929. Any redecoration work is carried-out in the spirit of preserving the legacy of the roaring twenties, while integrating modern comfort and technology. This legendary 5 star luxury hotel is an exceptional building with 409 rooms and suites.

They include a stunning 1,000sqm Penthouse Suite, one of the largest in Europe, and the Suite des Oliviers which opens to an incredible seafront terrace. The elegant Prestige Sea View rooms reveal a whole new world of luxury that is both classic and modern. The Art Déco spirit of the premises has been recently restyled combining the lightness of the roaring twenties, and offer breathtaking view over the Bay of Cannes.

The hotel is renowned for its exquisite gourmet cuisine with a range of styles overseen by Christian Sinicropi, the Executive Chef. As an artist, he utilises local produce and transforms it into extraordinary works of culinary art, served in ceramic dishes that he designed especially for La Palme d’Or (2 Michelin stars). “Chic & relax” the restaurant Le Relais which serves bistrostyle cuisine is located alongside the swimming pool, near the Bar L’Amiral, famous in Cannes for its warm hospitality and piano-bar atmosphere. Last but not least, the Zplage Beach Club & Restaurant which opens in summer is an absolute must go in Cannes, offering a menu inspired by flavors from around the world, sun-loungers, private pergolas, water sports, Live Show and DJ Mix during “Summer Znights.” Finally, the L. Raphael Beauty Spa for Hotel Martinez, on the top floor, proposes a wide choice of highly exclusive facials and massages. Our guests may also enjoy free access 24 hours a day to the fully equipped fitness centre. At the Martinez excellence takes centre stage all year long and remains the ‘place to be’ on the French Riviera…

After a long apprenticeship, he launched his international career in the Middle East, in Riyadh and Abu Dhabi, before relocating to the USA where he opened “Ma Maison” and supervised the Sofitel in both LA and San Francisco, California. After 10 years in the US, he moved to Asia, first with Four Seasons & Regent, in Malaysia, and then, with Park Lane Hotels where he opened and managed several hotels, in Indonesia. Back with the ACCOR group, he supervised the opening of the Sofitel in Cancun, Mexico, and the Las Dunas Beach & Spa in Marbella, Spain.
