Miami now bullish on car branded condominiums

Mercedes-Benz Places Miami

From Aston Martin to Bentley and now Mercedes-Benz & Pagani.

The truth of the matter is that Miami is on overdrive with residential developments and the developers have run out of hotel brands to place on their buildings. Designer names started surfacing and more recently restaurant names. But car brands began awhile back with the first being the Porsche building in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, just north of Miami Beach. The developer, Gil Dezer of Dezer Developments even invented a car elevator for residents to take their cars right to their residence in the sky. The invention got named the “Devervator”…and several years later, Dezer is repeating the concept with his Bentley Residences building, also coming up in Sunny Isles Beach. Aston Martin Residences is the first new development to be completed in Spring 2024 along the Miami River in Miami.

Fast forward a few years, and now already in the first quarter of 2024, two new car branded buildings have been announced within a week of each other. First Mercedes-Benz Places hit the press and soon after Pagani Residences. So, the car game of one upmanship is in high gear here.  But both branded projects are being offered at very different price points and in different parts of Miami. Mercedes-Benz Places will be part of a major mixed-use development in downtown Miami with 791 units with prices starting at only $550,000 in a very uniquely designed building that will leave its mark on the Miami skyline. In contrast, Pagani Residences will rise in a more northern neighborhood called North Bay Village that is northwest of Miami Beach. It will be an ultra-luxury waterfront boutique building with only 70 units with starting prices at the same price as a Pagani supercar at $2.4 million. Let’s take a closer look at these two newly announced cars branded developments.
