Restyling of the 5-star luxury proposal for the Mice segment.

After three months of restyling, the 5-star luxury Grand Hotel Majestic “già Baglioni” in Bologna reopens the Sala Rinascimento, a new part of its proposal for the Mice segment.

The Hall looks brighter than ever and in Contemporary Classic style, with new furnishings, modular lighting and a state-of-the-art technological compartment: now ready to host meetings, conferences, gala dinners and cocktails (curated by the brigade of the Ristorante I Carracci), it can receive an audience of 100 people or up to 60 people for a banquet.

Renaissance Hall Grand Hotel Majestic

The Grand Hotel Majestic “già Baglioni” has a total of 7 meeting rooms, all with natural light and located on the main floor of the building, confirming it as a reference point in the world of business travel and destinations that encourage business and corporate meetings in Bologna.

The restyling

The new black and white marble floors, chosen as a sign of stylistic consistency with the hallways, match the gray and beige tones that dress the room, and distinguish a plurality of details: the curtains, which can be opened by remote control, the seating, and the cloth table covers. Boiseries in pastel gray tones complete the furnishings. On the ceilings, which are decorated with two large central rosettes, spotlights are strategically placed, allowing for flexible modulation of brightness by sectors.

The new Renaissance Room at the Grand Hotel Majestic “già Baglioni” is equipped with the most innovative top-of-the-line technological solutions specific for the conference sector: microphones, audio speakers, projector, motorized monitor.

The Grand Hotel Majestic “formerly Baglioni”

Opened in 1912, during the Belle Epoque period, the hotel, the only 5-star luxury hotel in Bologna, is located in an 18th century palace, just a few steps from Piazza Maggiore.

On the main floor you can admire the “Camerino d’Europa,” a 16th-century masterpiece and the first known work of the Carracci; in the basement, a section of the ancient pavement of the Flaminia Militare, dating back to 189 B.C., has been restored to its splendor and is now the site of temporary exhibitions. With its 106 rooms and suites in classic Venetian and 19th-century French styles and a wellness area equipped with a Health & Wellness center and fitness corner, the Grand Hotel Majestic “già Baglioni” offers a welcome that sums up the best of Made in Italy.

Celebrities, artists, Hollywood stars have always stayed at the hotel: among the most famous guests was Futurism founder Marinetti, who organized his famous 1914 exhibition-blitz here. And the Café Marinetti, entirely Art Deco, with designer armchairs and sofas and a winter garden, is named after the artist. Entering Ristorante I Carracci, where you can enjoy regional cuisine and more, you instead take a seat in a 16th-century hall with ceilings decorated with frescoes from the school of the Carracci brothers. Enoteca Morandi is perfect for tastings and private dinners accompanied by a select range of Italian and foreign labels.
