The wines of Annalisa Zorzettig for What Women Want.
At Milan Design Week, Friulian is spoken with the event What Women Want (in design and more). In fact, Annalisa Zorzettig‘s wines will be on tasting during the all-female talk organized by the company Spaghettiwall, a Made in Italy design brand from Udine led by Federica Borgobello that has become an international reference for wallpapers.
The appointment is for Wednesday, April 17, at 6:30 p.m. at the Le Stanze showroom on Via Cino del Duca 2, where some special guests will be called to talk about design, female entrepreneurship and creativity: Claudia Saracco, design expert; Deanna Comellini, creative and designer; Patrizia Piccinini, author and journalist; and Delfina Cortese, a young Italian architect with an atelier studio in Dubai.
With the occasion will then be presented the Making Knots project, a project conceived by Gianpaolo Venier of OTTO Studio and with an artwork contribution by Giorgio Biscaro, in support of UNHCR and its MADE51 initiative, whose goal is to enhance the skills and cultural heritage of refugee artisans (85 percent of whom are women), creating opportunities for economic autonomy and bringing the crafts and stories of refugees to the world.
Annalisa Zorzettig comments, “With SpaghettiWall we share deep Friulian roots and a “feminine” vision, but also the same values and a sense of social responsibility. It is an honor as a company to be able to accompany with our wines the presentation of a project of solidarity and hope like What Women Want.”
On tasting will be the elegant Friulano from the Myò line, the delicate bubbly Optimum Ribolla Gialla, and the soft and spicy Cabernet Sauvignon DOC Friuli.
The installation will also provide an opportunity to raise funds in support of the MADE51 project, through free donation with a direct and dedicated QR code, displayed at the location and available to those who wish to contribute, and also through the auction of some unique customized pieces. It will also be possible to support the cause simply by spreading a message of solidarity through social media, using the hashtag #MDW4Refugees.
