The Children for Peace gala arrives in Milan. Each year, the Vice President Massimo Leonardelli organizes a fundraising gala dinner in Rome which hosts the international jet set.
This year, after 12 years, The Children for Peace gala come to Milan for an exclusive event thanks to Massimo and Debra Mace‘s tireless work. The American philanthropis, the founder and president of the non-profit organization, founded it in 2005 in order to give hope to poor, orphaned, abandoned and HIV positive children.
The beautiful ballrooms of the Principe di Savoia Hotel hosted the event on Friday, November 30th, attended by the international jet set, once again united to support the programs of economic and food aid, school education and information on topics such as HIV and drugs, to give children and their families concrete and real life prospects.
The Children for Peace is now present in 7 countries of the world, from the Middle East to Africa and South America. He opened orphanages, schools, and clinics working courageously in areas where even today we struggle to defend human rights.
The celebrities and all the people who attended the gala brought their contribution to the charity together with the sponsors of the event.
The harmony and poetry of Arisa’s music opened the evening, anticipating a gourmand menu built by the expert hands of the chefs of the Principe di Savoia hotel.
Arisa conquered the audience with her smiles and the power of her voice, giving the participants three beautiful songs that helped to warm the hearts.
Many awards have been given by the association to people who have always been involved in social projects in Italy and abroad.
Debra Mace and Massimo Leonardelli have presented heart-shaped sculptures, a symbol of the love that unites.
Also Luigi Lauro, founder of the Beyond Luxury project and publisher of Excellence Magazine Luxury, received an award for the support offered to The Children for Peace and for having contributed to the organization of the successful evening.
