A 5-star hotel that promises to follow and satisfy the five senses.
At Albisano, above Torri del Benaco (VR), last July 8, the 5-star hotel SPA-Hideaway Cape of Senses (Adults Only) opened its doors to the public offering 55 suites, 15,000 square meters of floor space, a large SPA with 2 swimming pools, as well as 2 restaurants, 450 square meters of water environment and a unique view of the Lake Garda.
Behind this visionary and imposing project lies a story, a dream, that of the Margesin family of Lana (BZ), who for twenty years searched for the ideal place where to raise a structure capable of representing something different and unique.
Ecological awareness and sustainability are central points around which the project of architects Hugo and Alessia Demetz was developed, and the architects wanted to create a striking stage overlooking Lake Garda because of the location. From local materials to design, from sustainable energy production to the culinary concept, focusing on carefully selected regional products, Cape of Senses envisions a harmonious combination of hotel and nature.
The SPA, designed as an energetic place to restore mental and physical balance through the five senses, is spread over two floors of 2,000 square meters, facing a 10,000-square-meter garden with ancient olive trees.
The Health & Beauty area houses seven rooms, a private spa for holistic facial and body treatments and couples packages, a corner Health Food, curated directly by the Chef of Cape of Senses, a large SPA Library with lemon and olive trees where you can relax and smell the scents of nature, aromatherapy with essential oils extracted from medicinal plants and wildflowers, studied music, and a wide variety of herbal teas.
Signature treatments enhance the land through the use of products such as organic olive oil, grape seed oil and citrus essential oils.
Also, very important for tactile stimulation are enveloping manuals, from the warmth of warm wild herb bundles to the softness of a soap mousse. Finally, the introduction of a sound released by ancient Tibetan bells that is able to awaken the sense of hearing.
The cosmetic line used is MEI, the best Italian herbs since 1988, because of the passion and care with which wild medicinal plants are harvested and also because of how they are processed, with inert gas extraction. These plants undergo a unique process that can concentrate the active ingredient in its entirety, without allergens and toxic substances. The molecules of these very pure, food-grade essential oils are the active ingredients that penetrate through the skin and spread well-being to the whole person, without side effects.
The meditation oasis then continues outside, where during the summer season it is possible to practice meditation and yoga in the Cape of Senses garden, a sensory park overlooking the blue Lake Garda. Finally, a 130-square-meter gym with panoramic views, personal trainers and state-of-the-art equipment is available to guests.
