And for those who want to combine the allure of sports with the endless appeal of Rome, a safe address is the Grand Hotel Palatino.

Grand Hotel Palatine

It is a hotel group founded in 1955 by Dino Innocenti, a pioneer in the hôtellerie industry, who began by creating the Grand Hotel Mediterraneo in Florence. This was followed in 1968 by the construction of the Grand Hotel Palatino in Rome.

Then the group continued its growth with the purchase of Hotel Calzaiuoli, in the heart of Florence, which opened in 1984. When the founder passed away, the heirs who have since become owners of the facilities continued the expansion policy and in 1995 acquired Hotel Villa Fiesole.

The FH55 Group has pledged to stand by the flood victims of Emilia Romagna by offering a special dish on the menus of its restaurants, Tortellino “Bologna style” with 24-month Parmigiano fondue from Vacche Rosse DOP. For each dish sold, 2.00 euros will be donated to the Fund Established by the Civil Defense in support of the affected populations.
