Men’s fashion: a new sartoriality

Boglioli

Elegance and relaxation for the upcoming winter.

January is the month of men’s fashion, and the collections for the next fall/winter have been presented. The trend highlights a man rediscovering the pleasure of sartoriality, that relaxed elegance which allows wearing of beautiful, comfortable, suitable garments for every moment of the day. This is without neglecting the small details that enhance the look and tell their personality.

Canali
Canali

Canali‘s new collection, “Into Nature,” is a hymn to outdoors, veined with evocative brushstrokes and a subtle charm rooted in tailoring expertise. The Scottish pattern appears in shades of dark gray throughout the collection, becoming a fabric and pattern on shrug, suits and knitwear, as well as on accessories such as capes, maxi-dresses, scarves and backpacks. The predominant color is a particular shade of green, a painterly evocation of the haze of winter days.

Corneliani

For Corneliani, if the dynamism and versatility of the present reflect in the shapes and fabrics of the garments, the importance of craftsmanship becomes immediately tangible in the presentation and representation of the new collection. The Milan showroom transforms into an atelier animated by the live work of the seamstresses from Mantua, engaged in crucial steps as canvasing, shaping and stitching on tables scattered with threads, scissors, and patterns—symbolic tools of a culture of mastery and excellence that transcends the notion of time. Prominently featured are lightness and softness, as well as the natural tones of a palette defined by earthy colors: blacks, browns, and camel, interspersed with the decisive delicacy of lavender and brandy. The shapes of shrug shorten and expand to highlight physicality through welcoming and voluminous lines.

Style, Artificial Intelligence and aesthetic evolution converge in the Harmont & Blaine collection, comprised of three main wardrobes exploring the essence of design, the artistic side of color and the cozy comfort of nature breaks. in particular, among various inspirations, the Retro Future world envisions future creativity using cutting-edge technology to develop new patterns and graphics with a high degree of innovation and experimentation.

Giorgio Armani
Giorgio Armani

Giorgio Armani transforms the “usual” into the “unusual.” Fashion should not change every season but, while staying true to its vision, it should manage to surprise while maintaining the characteristics that form the DNA of a brand. It is said that Armani used to peek at the audience’s reactions during his runway shows: his eye observing “through the peephole” becomes the background of the catwalk. A sublime collection featuring ample volumes and drooping shoulders, tailored pants mixed with technical pieces. The accessories are elegant, with shoulder bags and intentionally folded ties.

Cashmere, Shetland, flannel are just some of the precious fabrics characterizing the new garments. The sophistication of cashmere is developed in all categories: from coats to knitwear, jackets to shirts, not only in solid colors but also in refined patterns.
